Matt Zagula

I’m a USPPA & ASC certified powered paragliding instructor, and I am a FAA Safety Team Member for Yellow Team specializing in FAR 103 regulations and ultralight aircraft. I have been teaching paramotor techniques since 2020, and have helped many students from all walks-of-life, as well as all ages, achieve their dreams of flight. I, myself, have been flying for over 5 years, and have hundreds and hundreds of hours of experience. Nothing brings me greater joy than watching a student develop into a competent and SAFE pilot.

My professional background starts in the medical field, where I have been a primary care provider for 24+ years. I am a graduate from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and have extensive training in first aid, CPR, and Advance Trauma Life Support.

I am a O-5/Commander with the US Public Health Service, and veteran with 26+ years of combined active-duty services, to include 3 years as an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper upon high school graduation in ‘93. I will be retiring April 1st of 2023 to focus on my family and hobby of Paramotor instruction.

Your safety is my number one priority!

Beautiful sunset flight

The song says it all.

Having fun with some acro. Please do not try this without proper training.

Just out for a Sunday morning drive, I mean, flight.

“PPG Training with Matt has been truly a great experience. I felt that safety was always top priority. Matt is patient and attentive. He was able to work with me through any challenges that I had during my instruction. Although my training is finished, Matt continues to be available for any questions I have encountered.”
